Lens type
1. Anti-reflective protective lens
This kind of lens is coated with a thin layer of magnesium fluoride on the surface to prevent the reflection of strong light, so that you can see things more clearly and not be disturbed by strong light.
2. Colored lenses
Also called “tinted lens”, it is to add some chemicals in the lens manufacturing process to make the lens appear colorful to absorb light of a specific wavelength. This is the most commonly used lens type for sunglasses.
3. Painted lenses
The effect of this kind of lens is the same as that of the colored lens, only the way of making it is different. It is to paint the color on the surface of the lens, the most well-known is the “gradually painted lens”, the color is the darkest on the top, and then down Fading. Generally, sunglasses with power are mostly painted with lenses.
4. Polarized lenses
In order to filter the sun shining on the water, land or snow in equal directions, a special vertical coating is added to the lens, which is called a polarized lens. It is most suitable for outdoor sports (such as marine activities, skiing or fishing).
5. Color changing lenses
It is also called “photosensitive lens”. Because silver halide chemicals are added to the lens, the originally transparent and colorless lens will turn into a colored lens when exposed to strong light for protection, so it is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
6. Aspherical lens
It can prevent the eyeball from deforming, and has a better visual effect.
